The activities of the project include the construction of a 110kV cable line and the laying of optical cable lines from "BALKAN" 110/20kV substation to "MELTA" 110/20kV substation on the territory of the city of Lovech. The length of the 110kV cable line is a total of 1,300 meters, and the work was carried out entirely in an urban environment. There are two optical cable lines, each 1500 meters long.
As a contractor, ENGINEERING EAD fully undertakes the project management activities, the laying of the cable and the installation of the HV cable accessories, provides supervision of the activities of laying the HV cable and the installation of the relevant cable accessories.
4000 meters of cable А2XS(FL)2Y 64/110kV 1x800rm/95 manufactured by Prysmian Romania, as well as the necessary cable joints, outdoor cable terminations and GIS cable terminations 110kV manufactured by Raychem Germany, part of the TE Connectivity group, were supplied and installed. The delivery of the components for the construction of the cable line was carried out by FILKAB AD, the company's specialists supervised the laying of the HV cable.
In order to guarantee the quality implementation of projects of such complexity, ENGINEERING EAD has the necessary equipment - a pulling machine with effort control, a drum stand with a brake, cable rollers, as well as trained employees.
