The facility represents the second stage of the construction of a new 20kV power ring circuit for supplying the BA Glass plant in Plovdiv. You can read about the first stage of the project here.
During this stage, the remaining eight sections of the power ring were built with adjacent CCIS (concrete complete indoor switchgear) and substation with SM6 switchgear of Schneider Electric and Simosec of Siemens, as well as 20kV cable lines. With the completion of the power ring, the client received an internal factory medium voltage network with a high degree of reliability of its power supply.
The following types of systems have been delivered and installed:
- Schneider Electric and Simosec SM6 medium voltage switchgear in existing closed distribution systems;
- CCIS with SM6 of Schneider Electric;
- Power transformers;
- Cable-carrying system;
- Pipe-channel network;
- Medium voltage cable lines;
All installed SM6 switchgears are manufactured by Engineering EAD based on the company's license.
